The one offer
not to miss

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7)

Vital Concern exists to encourage and support Christians in asking, seeking, and knocking. Here are three reasons why this is important.

(1) God places no limits on His blessings for those who seek only His will.

Consider these promises.

Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

pray without ceasing

John 15:7-8
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given to you.

John 14:12-14
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will
do it.

Matthew 7:11
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Luke 11:10
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Luke 18:1-8
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up...."And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

(2) God wills that the body of Christ be tightly and intimately connected, with sincere love and honor for every part.

I Corinthians 12:12, 26
The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts....If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Romans 12:5
In Christ, we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

Ephesians 4:15-16
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Philippians 2:2-4
Make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose… consider others better than yourselves… look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Romans 12:10
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.

I Corinthians 1:10
I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.

I Peter 3:8
Be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.

I John 4:12
If we love one another, God lives in us.

(3) God wills that we pray unceasingly for Christians and others, both in the local church and around the world.

Ephesians 6:18
Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert, and always keep on praying for all the saints.

I Timothy 2:1
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for everyone.

2 Timothy 1:3
...Night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.

I Thessalonians 5:17
Pray continually.

Matthew 5:44
...pray for those who persecute you.

What is Extreme Prayer?

Believing God keeps His "extreme" promises to answer His children.

Praying continually, daily, fervently.

Praying persistently about the same requests until God answers.

Praying about all kinds of requests for members of the body of Christ.

Remaining, abiding in Christ and His words--living lives of obedience.

Submitting every prayer to God's will.

Knowing His Spirit is always interceding when we pray, with deep concern.

Waiting expectantly for God to change the world.

praying in faith

Vital Concern is easy to use. Automatically emailed prayer lists remind members to pray.

Here's what some users say:

"Vital Concern is a blessing to my life. It is a great way for me to stay in touch with the Body and know what to specifically pray for. Thank you to the people who make this website a reality."

"...a most powerful tool for caring Christians to bond through prayer & special needs & requests...In a matter of seconds I am able to place a prayer need that I know will be read by at least two thirds of our congregation. What a blessing to log on Vital Concern each day and spend time praying “live” for all the requests listed! But better still, to send direct emails of care and concern to the person/s who placed requests!"

Shouldn't your members be connected like this?

"When I heard of the Vital Concern concept, I immediately began thinking about how my own prayer life would greatly improve. Now that the website is complete, I have used it to send prayer requests to the body, create my own personal prayer lists, and to also pray for other members of the church. My normal routine each morning includes prayer time and going online for the latest news and updates. Now I've incorporated Vital Concern into my prayer life. It's simpler to go online...and print out my prayer lists. Then I have my prayer time. Keeping track of my own spiritual needs, as well as the needs of others, has been made so much easier. Gone are those little slips of paper that I'd so often jot prayer requests on. Vital Concern is one of the best uses of the Internet that I've seen in a long time. Thanks for enhancing my prayer life!"

"Congratulations on an Awesome resource. I am so excited to have instant access to prayer requests, praise reports and other communications throughout our church family."

"Vital Concern is an excellent tool for keeping up with what's happening. I can know as soon as I sign in who I need to be keeping in prayer, who needs a note of encouragement or who has a need that has to be met....and it is all at my fingertips. There is also the opportunity for a chat if anyone needs to talk day or night...a great way to build up the body of Christ, to encourage and love one another."
